Yes, I did read this entire post. The difference is that I don't take political advice from the bible. The bible is very subjective IMO, and is left open to interpretation which can be taken many different ways. I guess we should probably just agree to disagree

And the comments about the Islamic faith are brimming with a religious ignorance I can't stomach. Do you even know a single muslim person? You're being extraordinarily prejudiced here, it's actually painful to watch. You can't just blanket stereotype an entire faith because a small group pissed you off.

Even if Obama WAS muslim, it wouldn't mean he would be bad for america. I know, that's probably hard for you to swallow, but it's true. You need to explore Islamic faith from other sources than just those that are opposed to it. Why not google how much of the Qu'ran resembles the Old Testament? Why not go Wikipedia how Jesus is recognized as a prophet in Islamic faith?

Numerous muslim men and women -- probably more than I'm even aware of because religion is a non-issue here -- hold leadership positions here and omg look, Canada's not practicing Sharia Law. You'd probably pass out if you saw how many of my classmates cover their hair or practice Ramadan.. actually a good portion of our non-muslim campus population participated in it this year because they got together with the islamic student's association and made the event a fundraiser for the local foodbank.

There's peace to be had if you work with people rather than against them. You have to allow people to find and worship God in their own way, they're entitled to that.

To understand where he wants to lead the US and with what principles, we must look to his chief foreign policy adviser, Zbigniew Brzezinski.

Prof. Paul Eidelberg, Foundation for Constitutional Democracy, asks in Brzesinsky/Obama Axis

I. Who is Zbigniew Brzezinski?

It was reported in the New York Sun on February 15 that Barack Hussain Obama has chosen Zbigniew Brzezinski to advise him on Middle East policy.
One does not have to read Carter’s Palestine: Peace Not Apartheid to know that Carter is an anti-Semite . Brzezinski has earned the same reputation.

Not only has Brzezinski publicly defended the anti-Semitic canard that the relationship between America and Israel is the result of Jewish pressure, but he also signed a letter demanding dialogue with Hamas, whose charter calls for Israel’s destruction. It behooves us to understand the mentality of Obama’s Middle East adviser—and more deeply than our so-called experts.

[..] Not only did Brzezinski reject the “black-and-white” image of the American and Soviet forms of government, he rejects the very notion of good and bad regimes! If you are shocked by Brzezinski’s moral relativism, ponder Prime Minister Ariel Sharon’s confession in an interview with Ha’aretz in 2002 that his son Omri taught him “not to think in terms of black and white”—a statement uttered while suicide bombers were reducing Jews to body parts.

The influence of political scientists like Brzezinski is wide and deep. His moral relativism or neutrality prompts politicians to negotiate with and appease terrorist regimes. Mr. Obama may not be a moral relativist, but with Brzezinski as his adviser, he will be more disposed than other presidential candidates to appease Iran. Nor is this all.

With Brzezinski advising him, Obama’s chant about CHANGE may be more serious and insidious than Hillary’s silly utterances. He may have in mind changing the fundamental character of the American regime. That would fit well with the designs of one of his backers, billionaire George Soros, a globalist committed to the termination of the nation-state and the ascendancy of world government.

Since Brzezinski is a moral or historical relativism, he denies the existence of objective or trans-historical standards for determining whether the way of life of one nation, group, or individual is morally superior to that of another.

Brzezinski views history through the lens of Marxism, which, despite its atheism, has much in common with Islam. Both Communism and Islam are universalistic ideologies that reject the idea of the nation-state. Both do not regard adherence to treaties between nations as obligatory. Both Communism and Islam are militaristic and expansionist creeds that do not recognize international borders. Brzezinski’s globalism has become evident in Jimmy Carter. Under Brzezinski’s influence, Carter lowered the defense budget and pursued a soft line toward the Soviet Union. We can expect an Obama White House to pursue a very soft line toward Islam.

II. Iran’s Vision: A World Without Israel and the United States

With Zbigniew Brzezinski as his national security adviser, it was Jimmy Carter who facilitated the return of Ayatollah Khomeini to Iran. The Carter-Brzezinski axis is very much responsible for the Islamic revolution—the most dangerous revolution that has occurred in human history, a revolution that threatens the existence of every nation-state.

As a crypto-Marxist, Brzezinski deplores the nation-state . His book Between Two Ages: America’s Role in the Technetronic Era, declares that “With the splitting and eclipse of Christianity man began to worship a new deity: the nation . The nation became a mystical object claiming man’s love and loyalty. The nation-state along with the doctrine of national sovereignty fragmented humanity . It could not provide a rational framework within which the relations between nations could develop.” Brzezinski sees the nation-state as having only partly increased man’s social consciousness and only partially alleviated the human condition.

“That is why Marxism,” he contends, “represents a further vital and creative stage in the maturing and man’s universal vision.” Marxism, he says, “was the most powerful doctrine for generating a universal and secular human consciousness.” Embodied in the Soviet Union, however, Communism became the dogma of a party and, under Stalin, “was wedded to Russian nationalism. ”

Although Brzezinski poses as a humanist, he makes a most inhumane statement by saying that: “although Stalinism may have been a needless tragedy, for both the Russian people and Communism as an ideal, there is the intellectually tantalizing possibility that for the world at large it was … a blessing in disguise. ” Ponder this shocking statement about Islam or of Islamic imperialism . Yes, it slaughtered more than 200 million people, but Islam brought hundreds of Christian, Jewish, Zoroastrian, Hindu, and Buddhist communities under a single universal vision, that of the Quran.

Brzezinski, a self-professed secularist, is an internationalist whose moral relativism contradicts the moral law or natural rights doctrine of America’s Declaration of Independence. His relativism and internationalism contradict the teachings of the America’s Founding Fathers, who endowed the United States with a national identity and character, the same that animated Abraham Lincoln and Theodore Roosevelt. To put it more bluntly: Brzezinski’s mode of thought or political mentality — like that of countless other American academics — is anti-American. An Obama-Brzezinski axis has revolutionary significance. It might accelerate the de-Americanization and decline of the United States.

This development has its parallel in the de-Judaizing of Israel’s Third Commonwealth. Israel’s ruling elites, beginning with President Shimon Peres, Prime Minister Ehud Olmert, Foreign Minister Tzipi Livini, Education Minister Yuli Tamir—and let’s not forget Israel’s erstwhile and still influential Supreme Court president Aaron Barak—have the same basic mentality as Brzezinski. The mere fact that they are multiculturalists committed to transforming Israel into “a state of its citizens” means that they are only nominal Jews, that just as Brzezinski is, in principle, anti-American, so they are, in principle, anti-Israel or anti-Jewish!

But let us not be misled by the term “multiculturalism.” Multiculturalism means nothing less then the end of the nation-state system that has prevailed for almost four centuries. The nation-state obtained a monopoly of political power. Power abhors a vacuum. Terminate the nation-state and you are heading for world government. But a world government must also have a monopoly of power. Its agents must be everywhere, to make sure that no opposition group in any country secretly develops weapons of mass destruction. A world government must have the equivalent of the KGB in every country. A world government would be the greatest tyranny in human history.

Israel is the target of all those who oppose the nation-state if only because the Bible of Israel not only prescribes a multiplicity of nations, but a moral code that contradicts the moral relativism of the Brzezinskis and of Israel’s ruling elites.

Will Israel be the target of CHANGE — the mantra of the Democratic Party chanted most ominously by Barack Hussain Obama?

It is important to note that when Carter had Brzezinski as his foreign policy adviser, he undermined the Shah paved the way for the Islamic Revolution in Iran, al Qaeda was created to fight the Soviets and Islamist terrorists were supported to destroy Yugoslavia which was a Russian ally. These plans involved Britain, Saudia Arabia and Germany.

I don't reject science and reason. I reject what the word of God rejects, and if a particulat theory of science or human reasoning rejects God, then I reject it. Why wouldn't I?? I don't "subjectively interperet" the Bible, or Good Book as you call it( at least you call it the Good book, that's a place to start...) I have no idea what religion Harper abides by (though if I had to guess I would say christian of some sort), and I like it that way. He doesn't talk about it, and he shouldn't, because it's a non-issue.

"For these reasons, Barack Obama is a perfect symbol of Chicago. Arrogant and motivated, he is a natural self-promoter. A man who claims to be a practicing Christian, he bears a Muslim name. A name he legally cahnged from barry tobarrak to sound more Muslim! Identifying himself as an African-American, Obama is the offspring of a man from Kenya and a woman from Kansas. A self-proclaimed son of Chicago, he attended school overseas and spent most of his childhood in Hawaii, the last state, the state that doesn't appear on most maps. Obama, like Chicago, is from everywhere, and he is from nowhere. And he promises great, ambiguous things: change, hope, unity. His critics call him messianic, and there is no doubt that he is peddling his own religion.

The questions we all want to know are basic:
Who is he? Where did he come from? What does he believe in? What does he want?

This is what Barack Obama said following 9/11:

"In the wake of 9/11, my meetings with Arab and Pakistani Americans have a more urgent quality, for the stories of detentions and FBI questioning and hard stares from neighbors have shaken their sense of security and belonging. I will stand with them should the political winds shift in an ugly direction."

Further, Obama sponsors Illinois Senate Bill 750 creating the "Halal Food Act," providing for inspections by the Department of Agriculture to ensure that all food labeled Halal is prepared according to Islamic law per freedom’s enemies web site.

In addition: "On January 31st, Obama told a French magazine in an interview that if he wins office, he will hold a summit with Muslim countries to better the United States' image in the world।

"’Once I'm elected, I want to organize a summit in the Muslim world, with all the heads of state, to have an honest discussion about ways to bridge the gap that grows every day between Muslims and the West’" per freedom’s enemies.

I believe Obama is a Muslim.

Why do I think so?

First, he's lived twenty years with a cultic preacher who has proclaimed hate against America। Yes, hate against America.

Jeremiah Wright has contexted that hatred against whites, but when you get right down to his rants, they are hatred against America, disrespect for America, slamming America for being responsible for 9 / 11 and so forth।

A Muslim hates America, has no regard for its Constitution, its history and is an anarchist at heart। Wright's sermons border on if not endorse outright anarchism as blackism.

Second, Obama is a liberal to the nth degree, the left of the left in Congress। That would fit a Muslim who is for death bottom line: death to unborn babies, death to biblical definition of family and marriage, death to Judeo-Christian backdrop, death to freedom of religious expression, death to biblical morality.

Muslims live to die। They embrace death as the final glory offering to Allah.

Third, Obama is not Christian as he claims। He does not regard the Jesus of the Bible as his Jesus। If Obama did so, he would live by Jesus' ethic which does not include abortion and homosexual open recreation.

Muslims accept Jesus as a prophet only but not the Jesus as deity incarnate of the Bible। Therefore, Obama is right in line with the Muslim definition of Jesus as he proclaims that he met Jesus in an epiphany at his Chicago church.

Fourth, Obama lies। He says he is for women. He is for aborting female womb babies. He says he is for freedom for all. He is not for freedom of the unborn. He says he is Christian. He is a liberal religionist who writes his own holy writ. He says he is a moral individual. He is pro-sodomy.

Muslims are taught that lying is a holy gift to Allah। Then Obama lies. It could be his litany of holy presents to the Muslim deity.

Fifth, Obama promises "change" and "unite।" He does not define what he means by "change." That change could be pro-Muslim which is Islam World Rule.

That "unite" could be uniting Muslim sleeper cells and ignorant Americans around an anti-Republic overthrow।

In an interview with Nicholas Kristof, published in The New York Times, Obama recited the Muslim call to prayer, the Adhan, "with a first-class [Arabic] accent."

The opening lines of the Adhan (Azaan) is the Shahada:
"Allah is Supreme! Allah is Supreme!Allah is Supreme! Allah is Supreme!I witness that there is no god but AllahI witness that there is no god but AllahI witness that Muhammad is his
prophet... "

According to Islamic scholars, reciting the Shahada, the Muslim declaration of faith, makes one a Muslim। This simple yet profound statement expresses a Muslim's complete acceptance of, and total commitment to, the message of Islam.

Obama knows this from his Quranic studies -- and he knows the New York Times will publish this fact and it will be seen throughout the Islamic world per freedom’s enemies web site।

His wife, Michelle, is a liberal lawyer who holds to the same theological and political liberal bases as Barack। They train their children likewise. This could be a Muslim mask family.

Michelle has no regard for unborn children, even endorsing partial-birth abortion as does Barack। She is for sodomy, too.

She has been angry at America until Barack's political success। Her explosion in glee in finally being proud to be an American is evidence that prior she was angry, just as Wright preaches anger, hatred, and revolution.

Wright preaches "black liberation theology" against the "white value system" which is in other words revolution against America।

Yes, Obama could be Muslim। He had a Muslim father but did not know him, had no influence from him. That's what he says. But can we believe Obama?

Obama's mother was a literary elitist who was exceptionally well informed on a variety of life issues। She was a free spirit and hard working mother. She was not a religious person in that she did not hold to any particular faith.

Could it be that Obama logged into Christianity via one of the most liberal denominations in the world — the United Church of Christ — in order to find fodder there? And wedded to Wright though he now says otherwise? And indoctrinated his family in such revolutionary philosophies
over twenty years?

How can a person who loves his nation tolerate such cultic messages over twenty years, joining the church, no less, and calling the speaker his mentor if that individual, Obama, were not finally
anti-American?

I believe he is at heart anti-American। In that, I believe he is Muslim, disciple of Allah in disguise.

I no longer consider such a possibility extremist। It is a logical possibility.

Now I respect you and like you colormesticky, and all of the rest of you too, so that is all I am going to say about this subject, because I know that many of you feel very strongly about Obama being the change that you WANT for America. I don't want to har on this, and alienate people I consider friends, which is what I consider every woman on this network
