Barack Obama has won the Presidency! God has allowed us what we wanted, and we have exercized our free will to elect into he most influential office a man who did not grow up as an American and who was a citizen of Kenya and couldn't even vote up until 2 short years ago, a man who has said that he will protect Pakistan over Israel and will side with the Muslim's if political winds turn for the worst. This is a man who has terrorist friends who funded his campaign for him in Pakistan and Iraq, who knows that our enemies are hiding in Afganistan and wants to 'turn the other cheek and make peace with them and with Iran!." PEACE?? They are our enemies and nee to be dealt with, soon. As Rick Santorum said during the 10/24/08 Debate on the Campaign 2008 Election, C-Span " Iran needs to be dealth with, and they will be, in the next few months- whether by us or by another country. Iran cannot be allowed to get a nuclear weapon."
This is a man who will make partial abortion legal and overturn Roe vs. Wade, to make any and all kinds of abortive procedures accesible to any woman who wants one. This is a man who will allow any couple the legal rights of a marriage union in the U.S. whether they be polygimists or homosexuals, or beastiality perverts, what is next for B.O. : allowing pediphiles to marry their child lovers?? I mean really people, with all the lying this guy does, talking out of both sides of his mouth to both sides, I honestly do not trust a d@m thing this weasel says....
It is not a surprise to many that I don't support B.O. and I never will.
But it may surprise some of you to hear that, although I am not happy to have B.O. as my new president, I am happy about a few things: One being that I am proud of us as a nation for seemingly, finally getting over the race issue. This is our first serious black candidate for the Presidency AND we elcted him President! This is monumental, I don't have to tell you guys that! I am proud to have a black president, though I was not thrilled to hear B.O. compare himself to King, who was a true believer. B.O. invoked our fears as a nation, our grief and distrust of Bush, our anger and our rebellious streak, as well as our
Yankee fighting-spirit. He won the hearts of many with that tactic, and has inspired even more with his promises to be a social, just Public Servant who will change American politic's for the better. That shall remain to be seen.
I was truly shocked to see that AMERICA had voted in a Black President! I think my jaw hit the floor, out of pride and awe and out of shock in a dissapointed and sad way. I cried for McCain because I wanted him to be Pres. I shed a few fervent tearful drops for Obama, because I truly do fear attempts will be made on his life. I prayed that God would protect him and his family. And I beseeched the Lord to have mercy on us as a people and as a nation, and to forgive us all of our sins as we repent over them.
I want to end this post with a prayer for today, the day after elections.
Join me if you have desire.
Dear Lord, thank you that You have promised to protect & take care of Your people; we can rest safely & peacefully under Your wings. You comfort us and collect each tear, Yes, not one slips by You. You have seen & heard us, You will not turn Your face from us and forsake us. We thank you Oh Lord as a nation and as a people. You will complete Your will, as You have declared it, from the beginnings of time. In Jesus' sweet name, Amen.
Hebrews 3:12-13,
"See to it, sisters, that none of you has a sinful, unbelieving heart."
Let us trust in the Lord and have faithin His goodness and His sovereignty today
My viewpoints, expressed above, have Nothing to do
with fear- I do dislike his election, I do have no good feelings about what he is going to do in office, and I hope that God uses his presidency to, at the least, show America at large that
we are idol-worshippers; self-centered and evil-loving at our core. Is that too extremist for you? Well, too bad. I'm not here to be disrespectful to anyone but, I have my vews and have every
right to them just as you have the rights to yours...welcome to American citizenship, ladies!Er, 'ladies' may be a loose term for you two, too--just based upon your actions, comments and
reputation 'round theses parts ---- lol
Amen!
