Some were well dressed and were stationed inside Mount Hope Church; others were outside dressed in pink and black. The group of self-described homosexual anarchists, Bash Back!, claims the evangelical church is guilty of "transphobia and homophobia.

The protesters outside the church were beating on buckets, shouting "Jesus was a homo" on a megaphone and carrying an upside-down pink cross. Fire alarms went off inside the church, protesters stormed the pulpit and a huge rainbow-colored flag was unfurled with the inscription, "IT'S OKAY TO BE GAY! BASH BACK!" The church was vandalized, obscenities were shouted and worshippers were confronted. There were no arrests.

Catholic League president Bill Donohue addressed this issue today:

"The real story here is the refusal of the mainstream media to cover what is surely one of the most disturbing events of 2008. If an organized group of gay bashers stormed a gay church, there is not a single sentient person in the United States who wouldn't know about it.

"This is urban fascism come to America's heartland. It must be quickly stopped before it gets out of control. We are contacting Mike Cox, the Attorney General of Michigan, calling for an investigation.

Yesterday I noticed that the gay people were bombarding CNN and having little fits around the world! And my message to you is:

Amen! We need to speak up and preserve the sanctity of marriage.

The devil is working overtime to attack every possible good thing that God has created. Why? God loves everything He has created and Satan is out to destroy it because it directly strikes the heart of God.

God created marriage as a sign of His communion with us.

The devil is envious of God's desire to have communion with us.

Therefore, Satan has been attacking marriage in every possible manner; even the basis of marriage itself.

Yeah, I know, the only thing I said 'well at least some common sense and morals are around' but they are not happy. The last I heard they are protesting the Mormon church. I wish they would hush. They got Obama (thanks to Calif., I may add) and a 12 year old kid can get pregnant and have an abortion without her parents knowing. What else do they want? I guess they will not be happy until this whole country is free from any morals or Godly principles. If the progressives, Liberals. atheists/agnostics or whatever they call themselves have their way this is exactly where this country is heading.

Poor babies-they may have to fly to MA to get married. BOO HOO.

Oohhhh! What a bunch of crybabies they are.

They cry and complain because they think we Christians should be tolerant of the sinful life they are living and that they should have all of the benefits that we enjoy as a married couple. Now, they are crying and complaining because their "toys" and their "rights" have been taken away from them.

It kinda makes me want to proverbially "slap them up against the side of their head" and tell them "hey, this is not good for you". You know, kinda like when we have to do that with our kids when they do all that whining and crying to try and break you down and give in to their demands.

Yes, the people have spoken and no, you can not have your way all the time.

So, just shut up and get over it.
